CHIA SA Members will:

  • Have a right to vote, and to a say, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and any Special General Meetings (SGM),
  • Be able to nominate for representative positions (where vacant) on the Board of Directors,
  • Receive regular sector emails, newsletters and bulletins keeping Members informed of relevant community housing sector developments Australia-wide,
  • Have access to umbrella organisations, supports, and advocacy,
  • Be able to participate in CHIA SA events, including Sector Consultations and Policy Forums.

  • Information about current and relevant national and local sector-wide issues,  and details of upcoming events in SA and Australia through regular e-newsletters,
  • Ongoing advice, support, and information-sharing of community housing related issues,
  • New opportunities to present sector views to all levels of government in SA and nationally,
  • Influencing through political advocacy and input into housing policy research and development,
  • Connection to community housing providers in SA and other jurisdictions for collaboration and networking,
  • Representation at relevant committees and working parties at a state and national level,
  • Central meeting room facilities for our members
