The CHIA SA Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Gegenhuber as Board Chair.
Ms Gegenhuber’s significant experience in housing and the NFP sector will strengthen CHIA SA’s governance and advocacy work. In addition to serving as Executive General Manager of Anglicare Housing SA/Believe Housing Australia, Ms Gegenhuber has worked as Vice Chair and as Chief Executive Officer of PowerHousing Australia.
Whilst Ms Gegenhuber retains a national role in the sector, her appointment as independent Board Chair reflects CHIA SA’s commitment to best-practice governance and member representation. We look forward to working with Michelle to continue to strengthen CHIA SA’s representation and advocacy services.
CHIA SA looks forward to introducing Michelle in her new role at the next CEO Forum.
“I am both delighted and grateful for the opportunity to chair the dedicated Board of CHIA SA. The sector is at an exciting and pivotal point in time, a time to respond and collaborate with government at a Federal and State level to ensure housing policy and supply fundamentally changes the structure of the market for future generations”, Michelle says.
“CHIA SA is here to support our members in the most impactful way possible, and I look forward to working together with you all to deliver much-needed safe, secure and affordable housing for the South Australian community.”
