Adelaide’s first purpose-built, affordable, long-term rental housing for women opens
A $15.7 million affordable housing development ensuring that women at risk of homelessness are at the top of the tenancy list was officially opened in Adelaide this month. Australia’s only national specialist women’s housing provider – YWCA Australia, a CHIA member – has developed the 24 long-term, affordable rental apartments for women-led families – the first of their kind in Adelaide.
